that never stops trains
of shots, beat-the-clock reports
fresh as a smoking gun.We deliver the world
and make it cohere – often
by a pretty presenter
eyeing you through the teleprompter.Bulls or bullets – we stand
by our bulletin.
Our vision is sound
ratings cocked to the ground.So what if the man
refused to bite the dog?
We shall make it up
to him, and he will.We will soil even fingers

In our current society, the greed for better ratings, views and money fuels the increasing normalisation of anything and everything defined as news – sensationalism in media. Unknowingly, we feed into that unending cycle of addiction through social media.
